How many of us know the definition of web, animation and multimedia?
It is important to understand the primary difference between web, animation and multimedia.
The first obvious way of understanding these terms is that it is a cycle, first it is graphics, when motion is infused into these graphics it becomes animation and when sound is added to animation it becomes multimedia.

The BLS predicts an increase in the number of jobs in this field through the year 2016, due to the rising popularity of video and computer games, website development, animated series, and movies with special effects. Employment opportunities for web designers, visual designers, and flash designers grew by 48%, 29%, and 226% respectively from May 2005 to February 2009 according to job listings portal site Indeed.com.
Several are conducting courses in multimedia at the undergraduate as well as postgraduate diploma levels.
They are available for short-term and certificate courses as well. The focus of the courses is to train students in multimedia fields such as web designing, digital composing for movies and videos, 2D and 3D graphics, Photoshop or visual special effects. To be eligible, one should have passed in Higher Secondary Certificate Examination (10+2) for the UG programs.
